Found these two a while back on 8bitcollective. Kinda like a post-8bit electro pop band if you will. Check their blog to download their stuff. I personally recommend Fvtvre. It’s a 13 minute composition made entirely on a gameboy, and its friggin’ sweet.

So I made this blog a while ago. I’ve been extremely lazy about posting anything, but that time is over. Anyways, this band is one of my obscure music favorites. Forest World consists of Sean Ivins and Samantha Dickens singing over electronic beats produced with all hardware synths. I stumbled upon these guys one day as i was browsing 8BitCollective.com and I instantly fell in love. This song is actually part of a 13 minute composure performed from merely a gameboy by Sean. All I have to say is that their sound is fantastic, new, and refreshing in todays music world. You can download all of their music for donation on their bandcamp. Enjoy my lone follower :D
So this is my music blog. Haven’t posted much but I’m hoping to get back on the bandwagon. Anyways, it would be lovely if any of you were to follow :D
This was a piece I created for my 4D New Genre Art class. The faces are Sean Ivins and Samantha Dickens of the Chiptune band Forest World. I was attempting to somehow visualize their sound (which is alot less chaotic).
I used a technique called data bending to process the images used. It entails importing uncompressed image files into a sound editing software and editing the file to produce a desired (sometimes unpredictable) result.
