I spent the day in Tahoe, going to the high school graduation, catching up with mah bro Nick Twyman, then going to a little gathering that was a bit too much like a high school reunion. Anyway, as I was driving home it struck me that I still hadn’t shot anything, so I figured I’d redo yesterday’s photo but at night. I took the wrong turn so it’s a little different, but different is better anyway. Camera: Canon 5D Mark IILens; 24-70 f/2.8Location: Spooner Summit, NV D. Stewy joins the tumblr.  And it was a good Caturday indeed.

Inside on Flickr. Messing around with my new flash, attempting to recreate the same style effect that is on the James Blake album art. Shot handheld with a 480ex Mark II to the viewer’s left. Pretty fun result, hoping to experiment with this type of thing more often. Went with a nice warm pink polaroidy edit I’ve been loving for a while. Duffy looks fratty as fug. Canon 7D+50mm 1.4 2 sec. @ f/8 ISO 100
